Options for different learners

Make the experience
feel more comfortable.

The V6 accessibility panel brings practical presentation and interaction choices together in one place.

01 / READING

Find a comfortable reading view.

Reading Guide, Reading Ruler, Dyslexia Font, and Readability Mode provide options for the way students read on screen.

02 / VISION

Adjust the display.

High Contrast, text-size choices, and red–green, blue–yellow, or grayscale color-vision options offer different ways to view course content.

03 / FOCUS & INPUT

Make controls easier to follow.

Focus Indicators and Big Cursor options help students track their position and pointer on screen.

04 / AUDIO

Choose the audio experience.

The panel includes Voice Over and Mute Sound Effects options. Available lesson narration and playback controls can support the learning task.

05 / MOTION & LAYOUT

Create a calmer presentation.

Reduce Motion and Compact Mode offer additional choices for how the course interface is presented.

06 / LANGUAGE

Choose English or Spanish.

The shared accessibility panel offers English and Spanish interface options. Ask our team about language support for a particular course.

The panel’s “Voice Over” option is an in-app audio setting. It is separate from the VoiceOver screen reader. For assistive-technology findings and course-specific evidence, review the report below.

What’s included.

V6 student courses at app.yetiacademy.com, course-based games, and activity steps needed to use those courses. All 19 catalog entry routes received entry-level checks, with additional activity samples described in the report.

What’s outside the scope.

Teacher, District/Admin, and Classic interfaces, along with the separate Summit Arcade. The report does not establish conformance across every page, lesson, recording, device, or complete saved process.

These findings describe the assessed functionality and evidence limits. They are not an independent certification of the entire platform or a product-wide Level AA conformance claim.

How was the sample evaluated?
  • Automated axe-core checks of the catalog and 19 course entry routes, reviewed alongside manual findings.
  • Representative keyboard and pointer tasks, visual contrast checks, narrow layouts, text spacing, and browser zoom at 200% and 400%.
  • Component-level NVDA screen-reader testing of sampled navigation, forms, typing content, and control states.
  • Caption-track availability checks and a complete review of one Bike Shop instructional video.
What limits should a school review?

Testing used demonstration activities in Windows 11 desktop browsers. Student submission and preference-save actions were not completed against student records; related flows were reviewed in source. The report does not claim a complete nonvisual course evaluation, VoiceOver testing, a disability-participant usability study, or physical Chromebook/tablet coverage. WCAG 2.2 additions and Level AAA criteria are outside this evaluation.

What do the classifications mean?

Supports: the assessed functionality provides a method meeting the criterion, with no contrary defect identified in the defined sample.

Not Applicable: the relevant content or functionality is not offered. In this report, this applies to live synchronized media captions.
